The Ender 5 Plus is a great 3d printer. If Creality provided just a little bit of support, I would give it a 5 Star rating. Knowing that you cannot print with the Energy Saving on would help a lot of owners. Mater of fact they should remove this option. Detailed instructions on how to level the bed with tips would help. A forum with experienced 3d moderators that would answer questions properly would make this printer work for most people even with minimal experience. Below is a picture of my printer printing a rocket nose cone. It has only one mm thick walls.

i have the ender 5 plus now for a year, my z-axis was bent, i ordered a new one from chine for 5 dollar including tax and sending. it works great !! now thinking for a silent motherboard, but they are exspensive compared to other printers , i now wonder at what speed i should print 123slicer says 50mm/s firmware 100 mm/s and specs 180 mm/s my recommondation is not to upgrade this printer until parts are not working anymore, because it prints great without modifications, also easy to assemble, i bought a tent enclosure now for it for only 55dollar with tax and shipping works great for dust , fire , noise,

Great 3D printer for simple projects. Bought this to prototype some fixtures and jigs at my work. Everything went together fine without any issues. Booted up fine. Ran into issues with directions on how to level and set the Z height which wasnt very clear but managed to adjust properly to a plain piece of paper. Other than that it worked great out of the box. I do have some issues with sides pulling up from the heated base plate which ruins the print but think I need to play with the leveling, plate heat, and nozzle temp. Overall very happy.

I just tested today the printer, it work ok, good quality, but the bed doesn't actually work 350x350... useful is 310 (X) and 330 (Y). I would say easy to install... at first had problems to connect via USB, CH340 driver received with printer on flash did not worked.

This is my very first 3D printer. I must say that it was very easy to assemble along with setting it up for my first print. Don't expect to have wonderful prints right off the bat. Setting up CURA was really easy and I was able to print out a calibration cube. This is where the steep learning curve begins. You really need to learn a lot about slicer settings and what they do. You really have to do your homework and learn things such as nozzle maintenance, E-Steps, PID tuning. travel, part cooling, supports, etc. You'll especially want to learn how to calibrate your printer with test prints such as the temperature tower to see how your filament really works at varying temperatures. I mostly print in PLA+ and PETG and have gotten to the point where my prints come out just beautiful. The hardware is more than capable, it's all about how experienced you are with slicers. So to anyone who gives this printer a bad review due to bad prints is most likely due to the user lack of knowledge. Eventually I did some upgrades such as building my own enclosure, adding a capricorn bowden tube, and all metal extruder. It has drastically improved my PETG prints once I got my E-steps dialed in. I would also recommend going on thingiverse and printing all the "Strain Relief" models for the printer wire loom and hotbed. This is the only reason I did not give this printer 5 stars. You really have to do quite a bit to reduce the strain at the connectors. Finally I added a raspberry PI 3b+ running Octoprint to control my printer remotely from my phone. I have a webcam attached to the raspberry pi so that I can see in real time if my print is still going on. I can also take awesome time lapses. This is a HIGHLY RECOMMENDED upgrade. It makes it SO MUCH easier to operate the Ender 5 plus.

A It is a 8-bit board and the original board of ender 5 plus is not a silent board

Q On the Ender 5 Plus, what is the lead and pitch of the Z-axis lead screws? My printer bed make loud screeching noises when moving up and down despite having greased the screws. It has always done this, but it's time to fix it. I need to know which lead screw nuts to purchase.

A Ender 5PLUS: T8*4 Lead Screw and Brass Nut Please make sure to aligning the bed rods and it helps, or please moved it up and down and tightened the screw, the lube evened it out. Normally it eventually went away after a few prints. If need more help, please don't hesitate to contact us.
