BLTouch Sensor Guide: All You Need to Know

BLTouch is a type of semiconductor hall sensor and is an electronic component for 3D Printers. A precisely measures the tilt of the bed surface. It could work with any kind of bed material, such as glasses, wood, metals, and so on.

BLTouch is fulfilled with simple structure and high precision by using progressively designed solenoid and hall sensors. My Ender 3 has made some nice prints before, but after this BL-Touch was setup the prints are near perfect. The hardest part was learning how to flash firmware and setting up the firmware. The firmware that is shipped with it did not work properly but after I setup Marlin 1.1.9 it all started to work perfect. I followed several guides from Teaching Tech to complete the setup. The cover for the electronics doesn't fit anymore but I can now print me a spacer or reprint a new cover.

Poor instructions on bed leveling and z offset configuring caused the extruder to drive through my bed and Pierce it.

i was fine, there were a couple of problems with the firmware update and i was able to solve them myself but now works really well. i would like to use more specific guidance on that sensor's led lights. Good product recommend this product .
