Ender 3 Pro advantages

  • 【New Version】 Ender-3 PRO is an upgraded version of Ender-3, comes with the Meanwell power supply and new platform sticker, also redesigned the aluminum extrusion. The Ender-3 PRO boasts the same outstanding performance as the Ender-3, upgraded components make Ender-3 PRO more stable, durable and more comfortable to operate.
  • 【MeanWell Power Supply】 We adopt the MeanWell power supply, which is produced by the listed company with mature technology, and it meets all the needs of fast heating and long-time 3D printing. The printer is shielded by its power supply from voltage spikes and power outages. If electrical power is lost, prints can be resumed from the last layer, saving time and reducing waste.
  • 【More Stable】 Redesigned with a much more sturdy, 40x40 aluminum extrusion for the Y-axis base. This provides stability for the printing process, leading to better print quality.
  • 【Superior Printing Surface】 A new state of the art “C-MAG” magnetic sticker is designed for Ender-3 PRO, it is entirely removable, flexible and can better adhere to the platform. Once the model is finished printing, remove the magnetic upper from the lower and bend or flex the print surface to watch the model effortlessly pop off the printing surface.
  • 【Enriched Accessories】 It must be surprising that more useful accessories included in our package. Extra parts can save you time while you need, also cost-effective.

FAQ

Filament not stick on hot bed ?

For newcomers, this is the most common problem.Do not worry, you can solve it easily.Generally, the distance between nozzle and platform is too far or near.So rotary the knob under platform to adjust the distance between the nozzle and platform again,at a piece of A4 paper distance or less) .

The display shows "Min temp"?

This happens for the following reasons: 1. Thermistor port of nozzle is not plugged into the motherboard above, or poor contact; 2. Thermistor port of nozzle is broken, you need to replace the spare thermistor.

The display shows "MAX temp"?

This happens for the following reasons: 1.Thermistor port of nozzle screw is locked tightly, cause the temperature can not be sensing; 2.Thermistor port of nozzle is broken, you need to replace the spare thermistor.

Axis movement is not normal ?

Please check axis lines and limit lines whether the one-to-one correspondence, whether loose. When you check the extruder motor, you must preheat nozzle over 185℃.

Circles not round,Lines not touching?

If X/Y belt is loose, you can find circles are not round,Lines not touching when printing.Tighten all belts as far as possible.

What are the main differences between the Ender 3 Pro and Ender 3 ?

  1. Improving mechanical properties.Reduce friction and provide better dimensional stability.
  2. Improved extruder, reduce the risk of clogging and uneven extrusion.
  3. New magnetic printing surface, removable and flexible, which allows you to pluck prints off the build plate easily.

Does Ender 3 pro support breakpoint interruption ?

Yes.

What filament does Ender 3 Pro use for printing ?

PLA,PETG,ABS

Great printer.

Fast shipping. They accept PayPal. 1st print out of the box worked great. The only failed prints i had was from inexperience. I do recommend it as a starter printer.

Overall good value 3D printer and good support response to issues

As someone with no background in 3D printing, the Ender 3 Pro was relatively easy to set-up, with the manual clearly laying out the steps to take and parts being well packaged. After assembly, there weren't really instructions on how to go about using the printer, which is where Googling came in for how to load the filament and do a test print. My first attempt at the dog model pre-loaded on the included MicroSD card didn't stick properly and had to be cancelled; after leveling the bed following instructions online, the next attempt worked well at producing the model dog. Quality with the included white filament was pretty nice. The dog came off of the raft easily and its features were well detailed, and the surface was relatively smooth with limited visibility of layer lines. There are also many tutorials online on how to further improve print quality with settings tweaks.

My biggest pet peeves are largely design issues with the printer, such as lacking an extruder knob or handle for the bed. There are also exposed electronic components that are vulnerable to damage unless covered by the user. These are however fixable by 3D printing them with user-created designs.

A major issue I ran into is that the hole for the MicroSD port is much larger than the slot itself. When I loaded the microSD card with some sliced models and went to reinsert it into the printer, it slipped past the slot and fell into the printer body itself, where I have been unable to retrieve the card. I've owned many electronic devices that use MicroSD cards, and never before have had one where a microSD card has fallen inside the device. Making the hole smaller or covering the gap would prevent this from occuring.

I contacted support regarding this issue and they provided a replacement card as well as a goodwill gesture of a free filament spool.

Overall very happy with the printer, and Creality support has been very helpful in addressing the issues I did have.

Exceptional print quality, accuracy and support.

I am very impressed by my first 3D printer - I got it for prototyping cast metal parts, and I knew it would be a rabbit hole of learning a whole new technology. But this printer has made it fun rather than difficult. Assembly took less than an hour, and within 24 hours, I had my first finished prototype, using bronze PLA. It's been running almost constantly in the 2 months I've had it.

Quality has met my expectations, though I've never tried printing below .1mm resolution. I just replaced the nozzle for the first time, and it had definitely degraded (pushing bronze PLA through a brass nozzle, I expected it would wear out fast). But it's back to normal now, and replacing the nozzle was simple, following instructions in a YouTube video.

I did print a filament guide arm as my test file, and it seems to help as I've never had a tangle or stuck filament. I'm very impressed that my test print is now a permanent part of the printer - honestly I did not expect my first attempt hitting "print" would actually work.

This price point is incredible and allowed me to rapidly build a product line as I started my business - for the cost of Sketchup and this printer, I was able to produce perfect CAD files to send to production - prototypes that I had held in my hands and played with that cost about $1 each in PLA. That blows me away and reduced my startup time by months and thousands of dollars.

Overall it's a major win - with the added bonus that it prints neat little toys, and replacement parts for household objects. I have a technologically-minded nephew who's 11, and he'll probably be getting one of these for Christmas. I would say that if a kid is smart enough to know what "this part is very hot" means, they could use one of these with very little support/supervision - but you might want to assist with things like assembly and replacing the nozzle, which involve small screws and a bit of experience.

Excellent 3D Printer for the Money!

The Ender 3 Pro is a dynamite 3D printer. My first printer was an Artifex that cost me $1500 and can not turn out prints anywhere as good as the Ender. Once I got it assembled and calibrated I printed the test print dog that came on the SD card. Excellent print results! From there I have printed a number of upgrade parts (cable clips, extruder knob, and side mounting spool bracket). This is a workhorse of a printer!

Great Experience

Creality sent me a new bed and it's perfect, I'm getting really high quality prints now. This is probably the best customer service experience I've ever received, the bed was shipped out QUICK and my problem was resolved very quickly. I'd highly recommend buying it here rather than anywhere else.
