My WiFi box arrives today. I'll join it to the Ender-3 S1 Pro with the usb-C to usb-C cable, and power it from a USB power brick. OK so far?. Now, I am neither interested in or want or join or connect to any cloud or login service and I don't want to use a smartphone or app. I simply want to access it from my PC over my WiFi net, or by Ethernet cable if I really need to. I getting a bit concerned over all this emphasis on smartphones and clouds. Can I do what I want?. It seems the simplest possible way to use it but I don't get a good feeling from what I've read so far. My Halot resin printer box does this over it's builtin WiFi with ease. Are there instructions for what I need to do please?

I just installed the box on my Ender 3, however I'm getting the error: "Your printer type cannot be obtained, which may cause a collision when you adjust the moving axis. Please be cautious!" How to I get the app to determine it is an Ender 3?

Hmm, following the guide in the app it just times out after you switch back to the normal wifi.. But the box is actually connected to the wif, checking the router i got the ip and can login on it..but you cant do much from the webinterface. i just wish there were some way to add a device by IP address in the app so i could actually use the BOX for something... But i got it for free so i guess i understand why the y would do that.

In the page in the Creality program used for viewing the printing progress there is a button intended to connect to a Creality camera. The Creality box has two USB input ports does the unused port support a camera or would a second box be needed.

I've followed the instructions. It does not recognize my printer. I'm using a upgraded MKS Mini V2 board on my Ender 5 pro. Or are the usb ports defective?

What happens if it loses the Wi-Fi connection during a print ? Since a TF card is required I guess it is reading the Gcode from that ? Thanks in advance !
