Works great, fit is tight

Once installed mine has worked great. Unlike a certain review I saw on YouTube, the estep setting change is done for you when you update the firmware. My only minor gripe is the very tight fit. The only way I could get the outside bottom screw in was to insert it with the extruder about half way on, then push the extruder on the rest of the way and tighten with a ball-end allen wrench. It also squeezes against the hot end wires a bit.

Works okay

It works okay once you replace the cheap clear plastic cover. I have two E3D direct drive extruders and both clear covers cracked while printing. Luckily I found a 3d model of the extruder and print new covers.
